Muslim Day at the Capitol (MDAC)

Our community Partner CAIR Washington invite you to Muslim Day at the Capitol, it is a yearly advocacy event where they connect the Muslim community in Washington State with their elected officials and lawmakers through personal meetings – it’s a chance for Muslims in Washington state to speak directly to elected representatives and advocate for legislation that matters to our communities. This year they are hosting two events for MDAC, both co-hosted by CAIR Washington and Somali Health Bard 

Part II: In-Person MDAC Day of Action on Monday, March 20th  In-person MDAC Day of Action at the Capitol (Part II) in Olympia on Monday, March 20th, will include a tour of the Capitol building, a demonstration on our policy priorities, and community-building. The in-person MDAC Day of Action is days before Ramadan and during UW’s spring break – kick off your Ramadan by showing up and telling Washington state’s lawmakers that Muslims matter.
