Youth Social Event-Movie Night & fun

Youth social Event Movie Night Last weekend, The Iraqi Arab Health Board hosted a movie night for our Iraqi Arab youth. We watched "Puss in Boots" and "Spider-Man: No Way Home" and it was an amazing experience. We made sure to prepare some of our favorite snacks, including popcorn, chips, and candy. We even had some soda to wash it all down! Once we settled in, we turned off the lights and started the movies. "Puss in Boots" was hilarious, and everyone in the room was laughing throughout the movie. The animated characters were incredibly charming, and the storyline was heartwarming. We were all rooting for Puss in his quest to save his town!Next up was "Spider-Man: No Way Home," which had everyone on the edge of their seats. The action sequences were intense, and the special effects were incredible. It was amazing to see the different dimensions the movie explored, and we were all cheering for Spider-Man as he battled villains from different worlds. After the movies were over, we sat around to have dinner and talked about our favorite parts of the films. It was fascinating to hear everyone's perspectives and insights on the movies, and it was a great way to bond over a shared experience.Overall, the movie night was a huge success. It was an incredible opportunity to spend time with friends and enjoy two fantastic movies. Hosting a movie night is definitely something we will do again, and we can't wait to see what movies we will watch next time! Youth Social Event-Green Lake picnic and games

Youth social Event Green Lake Picnic & Games The IAHB aspires to support the well-being of the young generation who strives to keep the heritage of their Arab origins and at the same time maintaining their American identity. We support their well-being through creating a community that supports sense of purpose and belonging. Our young generation is full of potentials and skills and they are the hope of the future. We invest in them to create an asset to support older community members who are impacted by health disparities. On January 28th, we had our second social event to celebrate our volunteers who contributed to the success of the most recent health fair on 11/4/2022. We had much fun in Green lake cold partially sunny weather. We focused on physical activities to help improve mental health, as well as prevent many health issues. by playing games, walking, jogging and we finished with a nice picnic in the park.  We are slowly recovering from social distancing, and challenges we faced during the pandemic.
