In order to overcome health disparities caused by transportation barriers, we collaborated with Lyft to support community members with lack of access to health care facilities due to inability to transport themselves because of age, physical disability, income status, and mental illness.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, the disparity due transportation barriers has become deeper. It is not always guaranteed that community members find Covid-19 vaccine appointments in the vicinity of their neighborhoods, therefore, we partnered with Lyft to overcome transportation barriers.
