Zainab is an experienced physician with a demonstrated history of working in primary Healthcare. Skilled in research that addresses health disparities affecting Arabic-speaking refugees, immigrants, and other underserved communities. She is an advocate for culturally sensitive health services for minority populations in Washington. Zainab has a degree in medicine and surgery from Baghdad College of Medicine, she has also Master of Public Health from the University of Washington, she was granted the Fulbright Scholarship to do her MPH degree. Zainab co-founded the IAHB when she was doing her practicum at the University of Washington, dr. Carey Jackson supervised her project.
Zainab follows the footsteps of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in community service, she aspires to achieve equal health rights for underserved and marginalized communities.
Zainab enjoys outdoors activities such as hiking, she is a yogi, and she paints as well.
